To get information means you have to know what you want. You will be asking lots of questions. YES/NO questions will be asked to confirm facts. Open-ended questions will be asked to get the information. Know you need to know and be careful of answers that seem to cover everything without saying much.
A good example of a bad question:
Q: "Are you ready?"
You do not know what is done, who will be there, what will happen when, etc. You need to find out WHAT has been done, WHO will be there at WHAT time doing WHAT, etc.
