A few verbs like KOM, GAAN and LOOP, are used to indicate movement. These verbs are placed before the main verb and usually they are not used in plain present tense.
- "Jy moet kom speel." (to come play).
- "Jy moet gaan speel." (go play).
- "Moenie my pla nie, loop speel". (go play)
- "Nee, sy werk is nie klaar nie, hy het loop slaap." (went to bed)
Note: LOOP and GAAN are quite similar.
