Sy Sange op Haar Vingerpunte
sy gedigte roer in haar suiwerder kan dit nie kom nie: sy kon haar verbly om minder "En God het die mens geskape na sy beeld om die onuitgesproke woord te wees God in man in vrou in God met die wegvee van haar trane lelie-hande lig | his poetry stirred in her purer it cannot get: she delighted to become lesser "So God created man in his own image, to be the unuttered word God in male in female in God she wiped away her tears lily hands lifted |
his poetry stirred in her
the fragrance of the Garden;
that Eden First
purer it cannot get:
than the Eye of God
the I of God
the Aye of God ...
she delighted
in nothingness:
to become lesser
and
lesser -
stripped to the idea
in the predestined mind
"So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them."
to be the unuttered word
safely within the Word
shielded within the holy heart
stringed within songs of stars:
God in male in female in God
she wiped away her tears
upon her fingertips
flowers blossomed
within living water
lily hands lifted
holding the heavens
and music flooded
the skies
